We have released the first new version of the BeamworX software suite of this year (version 2021.1). For a full description of the resolved issues (119) please check the release notes that come with the installer. Registered users will receive a download link via email.

1) Backscatter Processing

Multibeam backscatter (Beam Intensity/Snippets/Seabed Imagery) of files that are recorded with NavAQ can now be processed quickly using various methods.

2) Export ASCII Profiles

New Export for grid profiles. Input lines are defined by one or more Geo Locators. for each Geo Locator an ASCII file is created with profile data.

1) Backscatter Recording

Backscatter of multibeam data (snippets, seabed image) of all the major multibeam brands can now be recorded alongside the Bathymetry. I/O Backscatter Alerts are also supported. Processing is done in AutoClean.

2) New NavAQ Drivers

New drivers were added for the following systems:
-Livox Laser scanner
-Leica LMC Machine Control (For Excavators)
-Knudsen Pinger
-MGBtech SAE1 Sensors
-Drone Control (sends routes etc. via MavLink to a drone’s autopilot)

3) Profile View Measurements

Show measurement (arrow and label) between layers and/or vehicles.

4) New Survey Configuration using templates

Creating a new survey configuration is now easier then ever before with the build in templates for various types of systems. The computer’s current position is used load valid Geodetic settings.
