New Release BeamworX 2024.3

New Release BeamworX 2024.3

Today we released a new version (2024.3) of the BeamworX software suite.
For a full description of the 68 resolved issues check the release notes that were distributed with the installer. Registered users will receive a download link via email. Some highlights of the release are listed below.

1) Filter Advanced – Multiple Areas and Exclusion

The existing filter advanced option now allows to filter multiple areas in one go.
It also allows point data to be excluded from filtering based on:
-Inside one or more “exclusion” areas
-Point Classification
-Close to a Geo Locator position with a “protection” radius

2) Vertical Orientation Filtering

A new way was added to filter Quay Walls. You can now set the orientation of the filter (Horizontal/Vertical) in the filter group mode. This mode will then tell the filtering to rotate the input data by 90 degrees before filtering. This allows for fine grained filtering of a vertical structure. This is only possible on data loaded in the Inspection area because the center axis of this box is used to rotate that data around.

1) Squat Calculation

Added Squat option to survey configuration computation settings. Either use polynomial formula or a lookup table based on input speed. Obviously also supported for Raw Import in AutoClean.

2) Chart Display – Show Offset Locations

The Chart Display can now optionally show the offset location of the vehicles, as a point and the label name. The Active offset location can also be shown. This name is then shown between brackets.

3) Easier Navigation through Survey Configuration

When a configuration has multiple vehicles it can be difficult to see where systems are located. For this we introduced an extra tab in the vehicle page with connected Systems (1). Also new navigation buttons were added to quickly jump back or forward to previous/last shown pages (2).
