Today we have released a new version (2025.2) of the BeamworX software suite.
For a full description of the 81 resolved issues please refer to the release notes that were distributed with the installer. Registered users will receive a download link via email. Some highlights of the release are listed below.

1) Water Column Data Editor Improvements

The WCD Editor received several improvements:
-Side Lobe Suppression Filter
-Rendering Improvements
-New Color Rendering toolbar
-Create digitized footprints also from Aft View

2) Better Multi Frequency support

Added extra filtering/processing options for Multibeam Echosounders using two or more different transmit (Tx) frequencies. Filter data based on frequency or exclude it from result calculation. Backscatter processing can also done per frequency.

3) Raw Import – Better Draft support

In the Raw import wizard select how draft is processed, from (pressure) sensor, manual value or from an external file containing the vessel draft over several days.

1) Bathymetry Grid layer -Relative Height

In the Chart Display the grid bathymetry layer can optionally be drawn in Relative Mode, (w.r.t. waterline or lowest offset location). This way the driver can easily see if it is deep enough for the vessel to survey.

2) New Driver – Honeywell HGuide INS family

Added a driver supporting binary HGNSI protocol. Decodes position and motion data.

3) EchoLogger Driver – Control

The EchoLogger Echosounder can now directly be controlled from NavAQ.
A subset of parameters can be controlled.

4) PostGIS database support

It is now possible for both NavAQ and AutoClean to load points/lines/polylines from a POSTGIS Database.
Just setup a small ini file with the URL of the server and inlog credentials and you can load the geometry in the “Import CAD” dialog.
